Park Slope Key Food impresses again

Paul Lukas | Mar 26, 2003 02:33 PM

Just got back from the Key Food on Fifth & Sterling, where I was stunned to see that they're now carrying a full range of D'Artagnon products, including fresh rabbit, venison, duck, squab, pheasant, quail eggs, assorted game sausage, duck fat, veal demi-glace, foie gras, etc.

It's all pretty pricey, natch, but it's still a pretty amazing surprise. As has been noted on this board before, this supermarket is far from perfect, but they often carry a surprising range of products, and are unusually responsive to customer requests.
