I just moved to Park Slope and am just beginning to scope out the bakery scene. My thoughts so far: I've loved a number of things at 2LRH--banana blueberry walnut bran muffin, Brooklyn blackout cupcake, chocolate chip walnut cookie. I didn't like the blueberry oat scone or the mini vanilla cupcake with pink frosting. Is this bakery hit or miss? Any feedback on their other goods?
I've only been to Uncle John's a few times, and loved the apple square thing and the peach square thing. How are their muffins and croissants and everything else?
Any other bakeries to check out?
