Paris for New Years

This is not my first time in France for New Year's, but it is my first time in Paris - also it will be the first time that I'll be celebrating in the country with some Americans.

I am trying to find something for us to do - they don't want to just stay home and eat oysters and foie gras, though I would be happy to.

We will be three women in our late twenties. If we could find some place (or places) that would have good food, as well as maybe even some dancing, that would be ideal. I don't want to go to any super touristy areas.

Any thoughts?
