Hello, I was hoping that someone very familiar with Paris restaurants might be able to help me as I have spent hours reading postings on this website as well as reviews at Zagat.com and on Patricia Wells' website.
I will be in Paris for 5 days in early April with my two sisters and best friend for my 40th birthday. We already have researvations at La Braisière, Le Violon d'Ingres, Chez Georges and La Regalade. I was hoping and praying to secure a reservation at l'Astrance for my birthday but just received word that there is no availability.
Can anyone suggest a restaurant that has great food and atmosphere and isn't overly touristy (e.g. L'Epi Dupin).
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am going in circles and frustrated. Also, if you have a better suggestion for a Sunday night meal than Chez Georges, I would be interested in an alternative.
Many, many thanks!
