Paris - Restaurant near Notre Dame seating @ 6pm?

Question

Hello! I've been searching the boards for a restaurant near Notre Dame that seats at 6pm. I have found some near but I haven't found any that start seating before 7pm. I think we really need to seat at 6-6:30pm the latest because we have a 9pm ghost walk tour. I''m used to dinner being 1.5-2 hours long. 

I was hoping for french cuisine but am open to just really good food. There are 4 of us, my husband and I and our 11 and 12 year old. My husband hates fish so there needs to be something else on the menu.

I've spend hours on this board and found alot of good restaurants for other nights but this one I really am in a time crunch so if anyone can help me out I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

Why not have a picnic of bread and cheese, or tea and pastries, before taking your tour? And then have dinner later.

Also, 7 PM seems quite enough for a simple, light dinner in the neighborhood before starting your tour.

You could get falafel's in the Marais on rue des Rosiers. There's a couple good places to get them to go or sit down and eat them. Notre Dame is about 10-15 minute walk from there.

Au Bougnat on the rue Chanoinesse just next to Notre Dame... never been but it is the sister restaurant of the ever reliable Au Bon Coin in the 5th that I know well... continuous hours so you can probably get some sort of meal at 6pm.

It isn't fancy--but very cozy: Comme Chai Toi (Restaurant Saint Michel) opens at 6 pm. Good wine, good food, very nice owner and very friendly staff.

How about Brasserie Balzar which is a short walk away (600m). As its a brasserie it serves food all day so 6:00 is not a problem. 

And IIRC it was one of the inspirations for Balthazar in NYC in terms of style and decor.

How about La Brasserie Ile St Louis, just behind Notre Dame

Their tarte a l'oignon is decent and I hear they do a good choucroute. You could do worse than sitting outside with that view :)

Thank you so much for all of your help!! I'm going to decide between Au Bougnat and Brasserie Balzar. I think one of these will work best for us because they have accept reservations at 6:30pm. Do you have a favorite of the 2?
