4 people visiting in June. 2 have never been to France & 2 have been many times. We want a la carte service (because the 2 newbies are somewhat picky and we want them to be able to order off a menu) in a classic "fine" French restaurant (i.e. haute cuisine, a big cheese cart, etc.). We have many more casual meals planned based on suggestions from this board, but we want the new couple to have a "grand meal" kind of experience one night. Budget --- $200ish per person.
Preliminary thoughts are
La Tour d'Argent?
Trying to avoid a place that is resting on its laurels, but we want a place with laurels.
Thanks in advance.
