Thanks to all on this board for loads of Paris info. Just had time to lurk, not post, before my trip. I took my fiancee there for V-day (my first time in Paris!) and we went to La Ferme St-Simon. We had the 35 Euro 3-course dinner. Very nice interior, classy and warm, friendly staff, and we were the only table speaking English, as far as we could tell!
Dinner consisted of a prawn amuse-bouche, then duck meat in phyllo, and a main course of braised pork jowl. Dessert was baked apple, followed by a plate of small chocolates. We drank a glass of champers, a split of an 04 Chablis, and a split of an 00 Chorey-les-Beaune. No coffee. :)
All the food was delicious, and the service was very graceful at first, becoming more "efficient" as the bistro became busier. Nothing to complain about though. The grand total was 130 Euro.
Overall-- excellent food, friendly service and a nice atmosphere to eat dinner in! We'll be going back.
