I'm a chef coming to Europe for a few weeks this summer, with my wife and 3 year old. We've been to Barcelona & Paris before but it was many years ago.
I really like casual, "hole in the wall" type places and I'm a huge beer nerd. Obviously places that locals love is the key to any great trip. Were pretty adventurous and are up for anything. Places that may identify as "kid friendly" are fine but really, other than fine dining, shouldn't you be able to take your kid anywhere?
In Paris we're staying in the 14e, near Parc Montsouris. We'll be all over the city and I'll make a pilgrimage for just about anything that's really unique and interesting. I get the feeling there might be some real local spots in the 14th. Market recommendations would be awesome too! Budget is, nothing too crazy expensive, but when is the next time I'll be in Europe?
