My family was in Paris over the holidays and took many suggestions on this board to heart. Moshulu's review of Le Volant was enough to convince us to take the trek there and boy, was he right! We took the metro there and just before the stop, we came above ground to a wonderful view of the Eiffel Tower. Le Volant seemed to be in a quiet neighborhood, but we were there over the holidays, so it is difficult to tell if that is accurate. It is a friendly, family run joint and our service was absolutely fabulous - the perfect combination of Ed Debevic's and Fawlty Towers - and I mean that in the best way! The food was in American proportions, which was a bit much for some at our table, but who's to complain about having too much of a good thing? It was wonderful food in a wonderful atmosphere with great service (as long as you have a sense of humor!). Moshulu's review is posted here:
