Hi, I know there are other threads like this out there but I really wanted some personalized expert advice from the genius board members on this site. I have been on the boards a lot here and done a lot of research but some of that research is a bit outdated. I will be visiting Paris from May 6-9, flying out to Barcelona on the 9th in the afternoon and returning on the 12th in the afternoon until the 14th (afternoon).
I am not on a budget but I'm also not looking to spend an arm and a leg. I'd like some diversity, some high quality French cuisine and some unique creations that I just can't get in Canada.
Here is my itinerary - please critique and tell me what I'm missing:
Friday May 6: exploring Notre Dame area - just off the plane in the morning
Lunch - Pre Verre or Le Reminet or a Creperie, Dinner - La Regalade SH (booked)
Saturday May 7: still planning itinerary
Lunch - undetermined, possibly a picnic in the park from a good market, Dinner - Les Ambassadeurs (booked)
Sunday May 8: Louvre in the morning, possibly Sacre-Coeur in the afternoon/early evening
Lunch - undetermined, Dinner - possibly Chez l'Ami Jean
Monday May 9: brunch at Fouquet's Barriere included, airport, no meals required in Paris
Thursday May 12: hotel around Eiffel Tower area, will just arrive from Orly from BCN
Dinner - unsure - possibly Pre Verre, also offered comped visit to La Chinoiserie if wanted
Friday May 13: spending day in Versailles
Lunch - any suggestions? Dinner - probably around hotel - Cafe Constant or Les Coccottes
Any thoughts in general? Am I missing anything? Chez Denise? Am I getting a good mix overall to experience foodie heaven in Paris (without breaking the bank and going to multiple Michelin rated restaurants).
