New Paris Cafe set to open in Arroyo Grande

French cuisine in AG!

I saw a fresh paint job, awnings, and papered windows at the old site of King's Fish & Chips (most recently Me & Z's) in the 1600 block of Grand Ave, opposite Spencer's Market.

I accosted the owner as he made his way from the remodeled kitchen to the outer dining room door. Our brief encounter revealed: French chef from the Alps, newly relocated to SLO, living in AG since fall, cafe set to open Monday, May 23, most everything made in-house. There is a rear dining patio that looks inviting. I know not much else, except I'll be there opening day. Opens at lunch at 11, runs to 7 or 8(?) M-Sat.

Anyone else have addtional info on the chef and/or menu? I hope local and visiting hounds will try it and report back.
