Help - Paris with a broken foot

picagastronomy | Jul 3, 201704:48 AM     11

So... the day before leaving for a week in Paris, (first trip in 6 yrs without whiny kids in tow), I have managed to break my foot.

Karmas a bitch.

Hubbies at a conference so I will be solo. Can I please get some help with some recs of a couple of areas or strips of a few little boulangeries, patisseries, cafes, creperies maybe broken by a couple of shops so I can potter along v slowly during the course of the day and eat, shop, drink, shop, eat, snack... and generally just people watch.., you get the idea? Thankfully I have been to Paris few times before so as much as I would love to power though the city like I usually do, it will have to be a different experience this time...

Staying near rue de bac in the 7th, but happy to cab it to an area to potter around in for the day.

Help! Trying to put a positive spin on a shitty situation!!!!
