Restaurants & Bars

Paris in August and $-$$

jefpen2 | Aug 7, 201801:00 PM     10

I am going to be in paris for three days next week Sun-tues. Looking for classic and more modern and the cheapies. Neither of us drink so a 40-50 euro dinner would be about $90-120 total. I would love to go see who is doing the most interesting stuff or a newbie who is at the top of their game, but I simply do not have that kind of cash. We eat everything and will probably hit a moroccan or creperie. We really love well prepared food made with love. Don’t need the flaming carrot foam with truffles. We have never been and our wallets have never been thick enough to try 10 course tasting menus with wine pairings. We are staying very close to Place de la Bastille but will also be near Rodin Museum and Le Halle. I know that some places there are closed in August. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks
