Parents Visiting -- Need Suggestions!

Craig | Aug 25, 2005 01:00 PM

So my parents are coming to visit us in Toronto for the first time, and my wife and I would like to take them out for dinner in the city.

We live at Adelaide and Sherbourne, but we will also be visiting Arton Beads on Queen West (at Augusta), so suggestions near either area would be greatly appreciated.

Challenges:

- Preferably $200 or under for 4 people, but can go higher if necessary

- They're not incredibly adventurous when it comes to food, although they're usually willing to try something new... however, sushi, Indian, or other more 'exotic' cuisines might not appeal to them

- Mom doesn't walk very far due to a hip problem, so it can't be too far from the aforementioned locations unless we cab it

At the moment, I'm considering Toba or Starfish (yes, I know that will be more than $200) if we stick around Adelaide/Sherbourne. I have no ideas for Queen West.

I would appreciate any suggestions from people who know these areas well. Thanks in advance!

Craig
