Went by last night and this place is still my fave for Cuban food in the ATL. Anyhow, they did some remodeling recently, updated the counters and added a bar in a lower level behind the kitchen area. In case you desire a cerveza to go with your empanada, I was told that May 14 would be when they will open the bar area.
As a side, I tried Kool Korner's, and the Cuban sandwich, a bit unorthodox to what I'm used to, was as delicious as it was described by my fellow chowhounds. Thanks all!
