Does anybody know whatever happened to this fabulous Creole/Cajun oasis on the Route 66 cross-country haul? We called to insure that it'd be open on the day we were driving thru on a long trip and the number was disconnected. This would be a crying shame that a Sirloin Stockade and other road food dreck would choke out a pop & pop. Papa was THE sweetest old cuss you would ever hope to meet. I fear he wasn't long for this mortal coil.
