So you find yourself down-sizing to just three cookware pieces that you'll use for the rest of your life. What would be the three you'll use? This question does not include lids or electronic cookware like rice cookers, electric skillets, crockpots, or electric pressure cookers. These three pieces will be the main ones you use for every day cooking and for whatever dinner/holiday parties you'll be doing. So, what will the three be and why? Pictures optional.
Mine would probably be my 8 inch Calphalon Commercial skillet. All hard anodized with no nonstick coating. Just stick resistant enough to cook eggs with minimal sticking but can use high heat for any sort of quick frying. Also a fair personal serving size pan for myself. It doesn't have its own lid but I do have a 7 inch Revere Ware lid for it that's just big enough for it to be useful to make things like potstickers. My second would be my Demeyere Industry5 3.5 quart Essential Pan. Just big enough to boil noodles/pasta and I can use it for steaming certain foods. My third and final pan would probably be my newly bought All-Clad TK 14 inch skillet. Big enough for cooking three or so pancakes at a time if need be. Sure it's a little large for a single ribeye or NY strip steak, but I'd like the security of a giant pan if I do need to use a large pan for whatever reason.
