When I was a youngster and visited my Dad, his new wife would make pancakes with a flavor distinctly different from the ones my mom would make with Bisquick. I remember she always separate the egg white, whipped them into soft peaks, then added it to the mix. I don't know what all else, but they were really good.
Does anyone know of a recipe like this?
I guess I could call her, but she's been remarried for years. She retired from the gas and electric company in Sacramento and was employed to test recipes all day (1960's).
Would anyone have one of their recipe books?
