Revisiting one of my favorite Mexican ice cream shops, Paleteria y Neveria La Michoacana in King City, on Monday, we got the good news that it opened a branch in Soledad. That moves access to the frozen treats about 25 or so miles closer to my hometown of Salinas.
The ice creams and paletas are still made in the King City facility, then transported to Soledad. I drove by the new location on the way back to assure myself that it's for real. Yes, it is and has a couple tables inside if you want to take a seat.
The products are much superior to those sold by Paleteria y Neveria Las Michoacanas on the other side of Soledad. So don't get them mixed up.
