The Painted Horse

For anyone in Delco looking for a nice everyday dinner place, I would definitely recommend the Painted Horse. We've been there twice in the past 2 weeks and have been very pleased.

Basically a pasta and sandwich place. I have had both Pasta Primavera and Pasta Alfredo. The Primavera was in a rose sauce with big pieces of roasted peppers, broccoli, garlic and artichoke. Very yummy. Hubby had Chicken Parm and a Chicken Cordon Bleu cheese steak with big pieces of diced chicken and smoky ham. Really tasty. Great cheesy garlic bread is served as well as a small salad with all pasta dinners. Also a kids menu which our 4 yo has enjoyed.

Nice interior space. Tastefully decorated. Service was very friendly and attentive. It wasn't that busy either time we were there but they didn't hover.

Located on Sprinfield Road on the edge of Springfield and Clifton Heights. It's in the row of shops between Oak Lane and Bishop Avenue.
