Looking to make a Paella-esque rice dish tonight

Hello again!

A craving for Paella is happening in this house tonight and since there are ZERO restaurants around here that would even know what paella is, I am sort of hoping to make a riff on it at home...most of what I have isn't traditional (i.e. no saffron), but I'm hoping to somehow combine it all into something tasty. Looking for some feedback on exactly how I might go about doing that :)

I have (that might go well together I'm thinking) -
Basmati rice
Fresh shrimp
2 chubby links of chorizo
Dried herbs (oregano, basil, paprika, sumac, etc)
Fresh parsley and cilantro - I think there is fresh tyme and rosemary in there as well
An onion
A red pepper
A little left over tomato paste
Frank's red hot sauce
harrisa powder you add olive oil to to make a paste out of it-

(I obviously have other stuff in the pantry and fridge too - but I don't think any of it goes into what I'm thinking of...)
Do I have any hope here? How do I gather some or all of this together to taste good? It doesn't have to be anything close to paella frankly - as long as it tastes delicious :)
