I need to make a recipe for my supper club that has a "Chopped" theme. My assigned recipe is Pumpkin Flan with Spiced Pumpkin Seeds (http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/foo...). My "secret ingredient" is fresh padron peppers. I was thinking I would somehow replace the cayenne pepper in the pumpkin seed recipe with the padrons. But how do I go about this since the padrons are fresh and not a dried powder? Is there a method to dry them fairly quickly without a dehydrator? Thanks for any advice.
