Pad Thai restaurant in Rancho Santa Margarita

At last this restaurant opens. Pad Thai is in a little plaza where IHOP is. I go to RSM for lunch sometimes because some of my friends work there. I saw this Thai restaurant remodeling from a pizza place for a few months. I've been craving for Thai food because there isn't any that I know in this city. Finally it opens last week. I've been a fan of Spice Thai for years. I've heard Pad Thai is open by the same family.

I went there for lunch today. I order Pad Thai. This has to be their signature dish because that's the name of the restaurant. It was super good. It comes with rice soup and salad. I like the peanut dressing of the salad. Then finally comes the Pad Thai. It has a good amount of shrimps in it. The noodle texture blends well with the sweet and sour of the pad thai sauce. I order 5 stars spicy. It's a little too spicy for me. I think I will order less spice next time.

My friend order crying tiger. That's a funny name. What it is is grill beef. Meat was very tender. It comes with a spicy sour sauce which is very good also. It's like eating tender steak.

Next week, I think I will go back for the stir frys. I saw people from the next table order and they smell really good.
