Pacificana: A few new (?) dim sum treats

We're fairly regular at Pacificana for dim sum and this past weekend, for the first time, we were offered two dishes we hadn't seen before: a lobster salad ($19), which featured large chunks of lobster and greens. Because we were already quite full (and because of the price tag), we passed on this one. But, I am anxious to hear from others who might have sampled this dish.

The other new dish we did indulge in were whole silverfish breaded and fried. Tasty sardine-sized fish were breaded whole and lightly fried (the eyes of the fish were still visible through the breading). Crunchy, salty and very satisfying.

As usual, we had several varieties of har gow (shrimp dumplings), the clams, pork buns, fish buns, soup buns, sauteed bok choy, etc. In fact, the tab, for eleven hungry people, came to $108 plus tax. A bargain as well as a treat.
