Pachamama Coop Sacramento Coffee Bar

Melanie Wong | Mar 28, 201707:29 PM

A couple weeks ago I had a chance to check out Pachamama Coffee Cooperative's coffee bar in East Sacramento before a meeting. The coop is farmer-owned and the organic beans are roasted in small batches.

The coffee bar setting is modern and urban. I took advantage of the free wifi.

Origins span the coffee growing parts of the world.

A few breakfast pastries from local bakeries are offered. The vegan, gluten-free chia donut with lemon glaze had a fine-textured cake-like crumb and tasted pretty good.

I ordered Sidamo Natural from Ethiopia as a pour-over. An elegant quaff bright with fruity notes and carob undertones.

This was quite a pleasant start to the day. Other opinions?
