My wife is pregnant and has been without oysters for the last seven months. As a treat, I want to get some that are open and fresh on the day after delivery. Anyone know of a restaurant that will do this in the seacoast of New Hampshire, or a cook who would be willing to do this? If I had the ability, would order a huge quantity from Hog Island and do it myself, but alas I need my fingers.
Also, are there any seafood markets in Chinatown or elsewhere that sell live dungeness crabs?
