Overwhelmed by wine taste - is it correctable?

I made a slow-cooked lamb dish with cumin, coriander, ginger, garlic, onions, olives and a bottle of red wine - I was following a specific recipe.

I used a bottle of Shiraz that I had bought relatively recently (last couple of weeks) so I know it wasn't bad. Everything tastes like wine and not in a good way.

Any ideas on how I can doctor the remaining lamb to not be so overwhelmingly winey?
