Overweight? I am. And I'm curious about how many of us chowhounds have weight problems. I see little discussion here about healthy cooking.
I can understand why: I don't think there are many cans of Pam in the homes of Chowhound's audience, and I doubt many of us have freezers full of Boca meatless nuggets. I know I don't. Last year I bought the Mayo Clinic cookbook at William-Sonoma -- just dreadful. A half cup of orzo with raw bell peppers and two tablespoons of balsamic vinegar was the best recipe we tried -- and we could barely finish it.
Do you all possess remarkable self-control -- the ability to chowhound within your daily caloric limit? Or does your preference for good food get you into trouble?
