Venting can be fun. I though that there should be an ongoing thread to post about poor restaurants. I've found that in most things, people disagree about the best, but there is usually a better consensus on what is bad.
I'll kick it off with Indian Rice Factory. How this place gets all its positive reviews is a mystery. The food is so-so, the portions minute and the prices about way to high. I'll not soo forget the butter chicken that had 3 bite-sized pieces of chicken in a small bowl of sauce. I knew it was butter chicken but is came with a lump of butter thrown on to the top at the last minute. Oh yea, the ambience is nonexistent and the staff disinteresed, bordering on rude. I especially recall the part where the waiter leaned over the our table to scrape something off the wall next to us, sticking his armpit in my wife's face in the process. Granted, this wasn't as bad as the time atYoung Thailand when the waiter brought the wrong food and then spilled much of it on the tablecloth - which was just as well as our dishes were then invaded by fruit flies from the plant next to our table. But it was close.
