Outstanding Desserts at Campagnia/Fresno

We had a wonderful evening enjoying David Copperfield last night. Wow, what a show! There were 13 of us and we had a great time. After the show the kids all went to Cold Stone Creamery for ice cream, but I wanted to try desserts at Campagnia, my favorite Fresno restaurant.

I decided on the lemon cheesecake which was perfect, as everything else is there. Very silky smooth the just the right tartness for a lemon cheesecake. Served with some fresh strawberries and boysenberries, and just a light drizzle of some caramel sauce. Very nice with a decaf French Roast coffee.

DH had the chocolate granache with Tahatian vanilla creme fraiche. The portion was very small, but very rich and decadent. He complained that he could have had two of those! LOL This place is perfection in every way. Anyone looking for an excellent meal, head over to Campagnia on Champlain Street. (No, I'm not the PR person for the restaurant, either!!) ***kim***
