Outdoor Bar-B-Que - revisited

All this talk about 'Que' finally got to me so I had to have some. So I went back to The Outdoor Grill on Washington in Culver City.

I don't know if my tastes buds were in such a state of desire or if it's really improved since last there (about a year ago), but boy was it GOOD!! I've downed a lot of 'Que' since then and I'll tell you, I'm going back to the OG every chance I get.

While the atmosphere is still extremely basic (no frills at all), the food is so good I don't care. Besides, what a great time to get my car washed!!

I had 1/4 Chicken (I prefer dark), back ribs, and beef ribs. All were outstanding! I had cole slaw and corn bread as side, both very good. Unfortunately no fries were available (my favorite with good 'Que'). I don't know if this is a temporary situation or not.

I got a 1/2 slab of BBR ($9.95) and a #8 - 2 Beef ribs and 1/4 chicen, a soft drink ant the total was $23.00.
You may yell "ouch", but with the amount and the quality of the food I yell, "No problem!". Took home almost all the BBR's.

All the items were fresh and properly cooked. The spicy sauce has a nice kick and the texture I like (thick).

I'm sorry I waited so long to go back, but seriously, while I remember it being good last time, I'll never forget how exceptional it was this time.
