Looking for an othello recipe

BonnieB. | Jan 23, 201503:08 AM

This is an old post I know, but I was just looking for an othello recipe...maybe somewhere here in cyberspace it exists. I however don't remember angel food cake, I remember a yellow cake with the mocha center and the hard chocolate icing. I'm going to give it a shot myself and see what I come up with. A while bake Shoprite came out with a mocha flat, which was a disk of yellow cake, kinda like a black and white only more cakey not cookyish, mocha frosting and chocolate crumbs mixed with a little finely chopped walnuts. Even though it wasn't the same it gave me that feeling of eating an othello, it was sooo good! I actually opened the box when I got in the car and ate one immediately! Then all of a sudden they stopped making it...so sad, but I'm going to try and few things and get back to Chow when I'm done:)
