Otafuku in Gardena - Perceptor's Report

Otafuku is definitely not an easy restaurant to find.. it is in Gardena on Western + 165th...
it has an extremely unassuming front door... most people actually go thru the back...
once inside, you will feel like you are in Japan.... 99% of the patrons there are japanese.... they have a big menu but their specialty is their Soba... their soba is probably one of the best if not the best in LA... the owner uses only bottled spring water and the finest imported flour milled from the white buckwheat heart to make his amazing sobas...
along with Soba, their tempura is fantastic as well.... sea eel tempura is one of my favs... his tempura is crispy, light, and will have you wanting more... writing this report got me craving their food... i think i will need to go there soon myself :-)
