Osetra Restaurant (San Diego) Comments

Last night, my husband surprised me with my birthday dinner at Osetra. I wanted to know if any of you, Chowhounds, have been there and whether you enjoyed the food.
I loved the ambiance, great crowd, fun Las Vegas like feeling with the girl in the air retrieving the wine, great martinis, good service. However, rather pricey and for so so food!
We thought that the Caesar dressing was lousy (mayo like, no garlic)and that the shrimp & scallops were rather skimpy on the plate- 1 of each. My boillabase had ample seafood but the crab legs, lobster, mussels, clams were just ok- the disappointment was that the broth had no flavor! Bland and again no garlic. My husband had the seared ahi tuna and that was good in a soy glaze, very rare. The dessert that we chose, cheesecake wasn't very good and it was small. Cheesecake Factory beats that one!
Anyway, almost $200., later, with tip... I don't think we will return!
Anyone else had an experience there to share?
