Hi, we will be headed to New Orleans at the end of February and I'm starting to plan meals. I have certain requirements for meals and I think I have those quotas filled, but would love other suggestions.
Vietnamese Pho: Lilly's
Beignets: Cafe de Monde
Fine Dining: Commander's Palace (jazz brunch)
Seafood Boil: Either Cajun Seafood or Seithers (leaning towards Seithers)
Muffaletta: Cashon Butcher
Po-Boy: Parkway Bakery
We will be there for 3 breakfasts, 4 lunches and 3 dinners. The above covers 1 breakfast (beignets), 3 lunches (Commander's, muffaletta and po boy) and 1 dinner (seafood boil). That leaves us with up to 2 other breakfast spots, 1 lunch and 2 dinners. I would prefer no super fancy dining; something mid-range ($25 per plate) or less. Any suggestions? Is my list good so far?
