I had Pizzaria Uno last summer in Chicago on a roadtriip from NY to SF. I was suspicious of it since it is a chain, and i had vauge recollection of having a unmemorable experiance once in a mall in upstate NY when I was about 11...but i didnt realy remember.
I stuck my head in and asked if it was the same pizza available in any city. They said no.
I had a deep dish pizza with garlic and extra chunky tomatoes...!@#$ This was not a pizza, this was a pastry... the tomatoes burst like a garden bursting with... tomatoes. Lets just say that on my way back to NY that August, I choose the middle route again.
Has anyone ever been to a Uno duplicate and the original? Please tell me that they are all as good. It will save me from having to indure driving through Idaho again.
