last sunday whilst volunteering at the Sunday Ferry Plaza Farmer's Market, I discovered a booth selling all sorts of soy yummies.
this is a tiny summer market, 10a-2p Sundays.
I tasted what they are calling soy "custard" and it was smooth, mild and sweet with freshness. it is really, as the young woman explained, a silken tofu which they pour fresh soy milk over in the making of it and it sets really soft.
they have fresh tofu, many of it's cousins, and soy milk.
I am really excited because I once had home-made soy sauce and it tasted so good and different from what I know as soy sauce.
