I'm looking to try Gourmet Garden in Columbia or any other nearby Chinese restaurant to sample the "off-the-menu" Sichuanese food. I read several posts about Gourmet Garden and other posts (Post 512466) about how to order "off-the-menu," but they were light on practical details for someone adventurous in food but ignorant about Sichuanese food. Does Gourmet Garden or any other recommended place have a "second menu?" Do you recommend any dishes in particular? Should we expect the push-back that some posters say they get from Chinese restaurants in SF? Thanks.
