Who ordered prepared Thanksgiving dinner, how was it?

PVhound | Nov 29, 2003 12:46 AM

We ordered a fantastic prepared Thanksgiving dinner from Ocean Trails in PV. They only took 22 orders and we had one.

Butternut squash soup
Whole turkey, farm raised, lots of flavor
Garlic mashed potatos
Whipped yams
Old fashioned stuffing
Cranberry sauce

We made our own family stuffingto go with it, everything else came from Ocean Trails. The only regret was that we should have ordered the mashed potatos plain without garlic. Garlic mashed potatos are fine with a heavy beef dish but turkey needs the subtle touch of plain potatos.

We went to a meal once that was prepared by Pavillions or some place like that. Awful! Ocean Trails was like homemade and we could concentrate on hanging out with friends and family.

Anyone else had a positive experience with a prepared to order meal?
