I just went to Kenka this past friday (St. Marks betw 2nd and 3rd ave) and had their BBQ Squid and Grilled Clams.
Squid was fantastic, clams were so-so (though nice and fresh, the sake taste was a little strong for my palate... though I'm not the biggest clam fan.)
My girlfriend had the deep-fried oysters, which she loved.
I consider myself a pretty adventurous eater, but I was floored by their menu. Can anybody recommend some good items off it?
Is Sea Cucumber any good? Raw octopus?
