WOW - ok when everyone says they want Australian food, this is where they should go, as long as they book a couple months ahead. The food was amazing. The service was excellent. It was a complete pleasure. I had matching juices instead of matching wines. Photos here:

I think it is worth a trip to Adelaide. We went to Womad and ate twice at their formal set up and once at the booth, and then we also went to Street ADL - so in 10 days we probably had their food five times and I would go back again. It is like Noma, but Australian (well from what I read of Noma). It is expensive, but I thought it was worth it. Such fascinating ingredients.

Now that I'm back I was wandering through the Prahran Market and there was a vendor selling some of the ingredients that are hard to find.
