Oradek's Cafe in Kew Gardens (hip)

cappucino | Mar 21, 2014 05:34 AM

So there's a hip coffee joint right next to the Kew Gardens train tracks. I was shocked to find out that it's kosher. I can't find the info on the website, but I didn't try too hard. Saw the Teudah at the place, but since I wasn't getting food at that time, I didn't really read it. My friend says she knows the person giving the certification. I love the location and the idea of it. Cool looking people drinking espresso and using the wifi. Two comfy leather chairs that we took gladly when their previous occupiers went out to get something (we didn't know they were coming back). There are scones, paninis, soups...The guy pouring reminded me of Gunther from Friends, but the coffee did not taste as good as the coffee on Friends looked like it did. What can I say? The coffee needs to be good, but I would go back just because it is hip and it's in Kew Gardens. Check out the website. http://odradekscoffee.com
