In many towns this would be a destination spot. Here it is a neighborhood place. Sigh...how lucky we are to live here, and luckier yet that six days with highs in the 90's is considered a major heat wave!
Still, I DO hate the heat, and am still searching for aircond'd good places in the city. Whenever the question gets asked on the board, the solution is always 'eat outside'. Someday soon I will research and post my own list of aircond'd places, but meanwhile, good insulation and a lovely garden, not to mention excellent food, makes Blue Plate a perfect alternative to cooking on a hot day....
