Any opinions on L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon?

I have seen a few brief laudatory comments on the board, but I would like to hear a little more about anyone’s dining experience. I have reservations in a couple of weeks, and am looking forward to it. But since I’m taking my mother, who will surely prefer a “traditional” ordering experience (appetizer, entrée, dessert) to having to select a variety of small dishes, I want to be sure she’ll be comfortable. I’m also a bit concerned that we’ll be able to get a full dinner without having to order half the menu. If anyone has had the degustation menu and would be willing to describe the experience, I would be very interested.

If someone would like to suggest a comparably fabulous restaurant that will better accommodate us, please feel free. Price is not a big worry for this meal, but it does need to be on the strip.
