This may have gotten buried in another thread, but was wondering if anybody here has tried Fino at the St. Andrew's Hotel recently?

A brother is a big fan, but I don't know how it compares to Scala's or Puccini & Pinetti's.
Quieter, that's clear...but the food?
It may just be too quiet/non-spectacular a spot to attract many diners from this Board perhaps?
Other spots recently noticed were the Nob Hill Cafe & Venticello's. But, I think both might be too far away from our event that night at the Curran, for such a large group. (12 or more)
Italian seems to be the safest for our mix of people. (some are conservative in their tastes...and some of us are vegetarians)
