What I saw open

Jess | Oct 10, 200502:32 PM

Lots more stuff open this past weekend; Cooter's and Fat Harry's have been joined by the Bulldog (and I think Nacho Mama's next door). I ate at Coop's in the quarter, all those along there on Decatur were open, Angeli, Turtle Bay, etc. Bacco, Red Fish Grille, Clover Grill, Bourbon House, Port O' Call were all I saw in the quarter. The Marigny is still totally dark.

Vincent's on St. Charles was open, and there was al fresco seating. GB's/Madigan's was serving rice and beans yesterday, and the owner said they're opening with an attenuated menu today. LA Pizza Kitchen on Carrolton has a decent sized menu, including a spinach salad, which was the only vegetable product I had all weekend. A sign on the front of Martinique said it would be opening Oct. 18. Lilette is supposed to open around then as well. Creole Creamery is open, and has signs up all over town. Oh, and the little cafe on Oak St, can't remember the name. Oak St. Cafe, maybe? And Slim Goodie's has been open for a long time.

That's my update, more are coming back daily, and I'll try to post when I see something new. Take care, y'all.
