Oola

Had dinner at Oola last night with a couple of friends. We had a short time before a concert and didn't want to spend a lot, so didn't get very deep into the menu, but what we had was all really good: first-rate hamburger, great Provencal-style fish soup, classic linquine with clams ($10, $9, $12? I think). Also the best rye bread I've had in a while, they said it was from Panorama. Very friendly staff.

Since the kitchen's open till 1am, the full bar till 2am, and the food's so good, it wouldn't surprise me if it became one of those after-work hangouts for chefs.
