i was looking up something about skewering shrimp to keep them straight. i came upon this very useful "encyclopedia," and thought you might enjoy having a look!
it is very, very comprehensive, and has interesting information. caution: it takes a while to load, but it is worth it. lots of cooking terms, food items, techniques are explained. i haven't yet explored the recipes. i'm adding it to my foodie bookmarks, for sure.
