Just thought I'd share my latest experience, and it may not be news to anyone. I was in Oneonta in August, and Cooperstown as well. I'm sure everyone knows about and has their opinions on Brook's Bar-B-Q,(the rib-eye was good, as was the tapioca pudding, and the homemade bread) but I also ate a place called Ianelli's on Chestnut St, I believe. While I was somewhat disappointed in the Fettucine Alfredo, the meatballs were terrific---tender and flavorful. I also tried the Neptune Diner on Route 23 for breakfast, which was good but a little pricey for my waffle. I was pretty surprised by Denny's, also on Route 23---the food was tasty. I also tried take-out Chinese food from some place on Chestnut Street, and for outside NYC, it was quite good.
