Why is OM pulling out of RW participation?

rlh | Feb 15, 2006 01:25 PM

OM called me (did not email which I would have expected based on using Open Table...) after I made two reservations for separate dinners during RW. They called to say they are not participating in RW without any further explanation. The OT website still says they are (dinner only), which is confusing to me.

We were really looking forward to it as a controlled-risk way to try them given the generally positive, yet somewhat mixed reviews here, with seemingly broad agreement that it's quite pricey.

Does anyone have insights to offer into why they pulled out? Without understanding why, I'm inclined to cross them off of our "must try" business and personal dining options lists assuming they are insufficiently-interested in new customers.
